Shawn Bird is the firm’s lead technologist overseeing the company’s proprietary portfolio optimization engine. He has over 14 years of experience in advanced technology development and deployment, and technology strategy and implementation. He is the founder of Exam Solutions, Inc., an online learning solutions company founded in 1999 and has been a contracted Technology Manager to the Microsoft Corporation since 1996.

Mr. Bird was a principal at CAP Gemini America, I/T Architect & Advanced Technology Division where he established and led CGA-Seattle web delivery team for clients including: Nike, Crown Pacific, Weyerhaeuser and Bank of America and was Director of Technology for International Aviation Consultants.

Mr. Bird’s education credentials include a B.S. in Physics from University of Iowa, an MBA and PhD in Information Systems from Texas Tech University.
